ALPINE TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A Comstock Park area man has died from his injuries after being involved in a three-car crash in Alpine Township.
Michigan State Police say it happened on Alpine Avenue around 5:15 p.m. Tuesday.
We're told the driver of a minivan, an 85-year-old man, tried to turn onto Westshire Drive and failed to yield the right-of -way of another car.
The crash caused the cars to hit a third car that was stopped at the stop sign at Alpine Avenue and Westshire Drive.
MSP says the man who caused the crash was taken to a hospital and later died from his injuries.
A second driver suffered minor injuries while the third driver involved was not hurt.
The crash remains under investigation.
