GRANDVILLE, Mich. — The man accused of killing a 19-year-old in Grandville on Friday night is now being charged with open murder, according to Grandville police.
Jerell Chapman was arraigned Monday in the death of Alex Disla.
Disla was found dead from a gunshot wound in the driver’s seat of his car on Wilson near Blackhawk Drive.
Chapman was arrested at 5:30 a.m. Saturday in Kentwood.
Investigators haven’t said anything about a possible motive.
