ADA, Mich. — UPDATE: Patricia Kain has been found. While in the care of medical staff, she is unharmed, reports the Kent County Sheriff's Office.
The Kent County Sheriff's Office is currently searching for a missing woman who is believed to possibly be in danger.
79-year-old woman Patricia Kain left her relative's home near Chesaning, Mich., last night around 5:30 p.m. to return home to Ada. She was supposed to arrive last night.
According to family, Kain has shown early symptoms of dementia. She does not have a phone with her, and has not arrived home as of now.
Investigators determined that she attempted to use her credit card in Howell last night at about 11:00 pm.
She most recently tried to use a card at a Lansing area Sunoco off I-69.
Kain is driving a Silver 2009 Ford Escape with the license plate title DGD2607.
