GRANDVILLE, Mich. — The Grandville Police Department has chosen its next deputy chief.
Renee Veldman was selected for the role Thursday after Paul Anglim was promoted to police chief last month. She has been with the department since 1994, and has served as a patrol officer, vice detective, crisis negotiator and several other roles in training and leadership.
Veldman started her career in law enforcement in 1991 as a patrol officer in Hastings.
