A 68-year-old man died Thursday night in a crash on M-37 at 10 Mile, and drugs are believed to be a factor, says Michigan State Police.

The crash took place when a northbound Chevrolet HHR on M-37 driven by a 29-year-old man crashed into a Ford Taurus waiting at the light at 10 Mile Road near Sparta.

The 68-year-old man in the Taurus died at the scene. The 68-year-old woman in the car with him was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover from injuries. The 29-year-old man was taken to the hospital as well, and he is expected to recover.
