GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — There is no doubt that it has been a violent summer in west Michigan, so one group is stepping up to do something about it.
'Black Wallstreet Grand Rapids' is hosting a peace walk at 10:30 a.m. Saturday morning.
Teaming up with the likes of 'Generation Wealthy,' 'Mothers on a Mission to Stop Street Violence,' and 'The Grand Rapids African American Taskforce,' they are encouraging participants to bring peace signs and t-shirts.
If any groups or organization are interested, they are asked to message either 'Black Wallstreet's Facebook page, or email info@generationwealthy.us.
If you would like to get involved, they will start and end at Wealthy and Diamond St. in Grand Rapids.
