Another farmers market opens on Thursday

WYOMING, Mich. — Fans of farmers markets are not going without, even during these COVID-19 days.

The Metro Health Farmer’s Marketwill open for the season on Thursday, May 14. The market will be held every Thursday through October at the Metro Health Village, 5900 Byron Center Ave. SW. in Wyoming.

Social distancing of six feet will be observed with a foot traffic flow system using arrows, and vendor selection will be limited to produce and food products until executive orders pertaining to artisan vendors are lifted. Vendors will be required to wear masks and the public is encouraged to do the same. Hand sanitizing stations will be available.

Shoppers are asked to leave their reusable shopping bags at home. Samples will also not be allowed.
