BERLIN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Everyone is safe after a fire broke out in the chimney of a home in Ionia County.
It happened around 4 a.m. Thursday morning at a home in the 5400 block of Jordan Lake Road in Berlin Township.
A Michigan State Police Trooper on scene tells FOX 17 that everyone inside the home made it out safely and the homeowners believe the fire started inside the chimney of the home.
No one was hurt and the cause remains under investigation.
