EASTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A Cedar Springs man died after his car hit a tree on M-21 Bluewater Highway in Ionia County on Tuesday, reports Michigan State Police.
Troopers were called to the scene on M-21 northwest of Saranac near Johnson Road around 6:10 p.m. Tuesday in Easton Township.
There they found one person in a vehicle that had hit a tree. The driver was identified as Jammal Dillard, 39, of Cedar Springs. Dillard died at Spectrum Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.
MSP said speed was believed to have been a factor in the crash.
