"Holiday House" lets you wander in an inflated wonderland
This house is not for the Grinches among us... Sean Burdick turned his yard into a next-level Christmas display using 175 inflatables.
The owners say they started about a decade ago and just kept getting more. They say thousands of people visit their "Holiday House" every year to see inflatables in all sizes and characters.
"We started the first year, it was about four or five years ago when it started being like this. At first we just had a whole bunch of decorations up and down our yard here. People could just drive by and look at them. About four years ago, we made it so people could walk through and enjoy everything up close"
They created a path for people to enjoy the lights, characters, and Christmas music. The display takes 2-3 weeks to put together, working at about 5-6 hours a day. Putting the display together isn't easy, but Burdick says it's worth it to see the smiles on peoples' faces.
"The kids seem to enjoy it, the parents seem to enjoy it. Everyone gets out, they see their favorite character, especially the kids." Sean Burdick, owner of the dispaly told FOX 17. "They'll rush to their favorite character. They'll point at them. They'll name them. It is just nice to hear kids laughing."
Burdick isn't charging people., but donations are appreciated.
The inflatables will be up --weather permitting-- until January 1st. You can check their Facebook page before you visit to make sure the characters will be inflated.
