West Michigan food maker creates new "healthier" ramen

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Grand Rapids-based Pearson Foods is introducing its new Fresh Ramen product line which is available in the grab-and-go, fresh deli sections of more than 200 Meijer stores.

What makes Fresh Ramen healthier is that it features ingredients that are never dried or frozen and comes in a see-through bowl which showcases the fresh ingredients while being able to withstand high heat.

Fresh Ramen comes in five different flavors: Spicy Sesame, Ginger Beef, Miso, Tokyo Chicken, and Tonkotsu Pork.

In addition to being available at Meijer, Fresh Ramen can also be found at select Jewel-Osco stores in the Chicago area.
