GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — United Way is collecting essential items to help Kent County residents who need them.
The nonprofit organization says many assistance programs don’t cover certain products, such as cleaning or personal hygiene products.
Those interested in lending a hand can shop online, donate cash or register a team with people you know to collect donations.
We’re told donated items will be distributed to local agencies throughout the county.
