GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — West Michigan got a pop of color thanks to everyone that came out to Paint the Park.
Families painted Rosa Parks Circle with the colors of the rainbow Saturday afternoon.
It’s a part of World of Winter in Grand Rapids, which was expanded into a month of events from just a 4-day weekend in 2019.
Guests could sip hot chocolate from Salvation Army, meet local police officers, take advantage of free face painting, and get some snacks from a variety of food trucks.
Organizers say they spent at least 6 months planning the whole thing out.
World of Winter wraps up on Sunday, February 16.
