GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Police are investigating a report of shots fired into a home overnight, which struck a gas meter.
This happened around 3:40 a.m. on Sunday, July 26, on Watkins Street SE near St. Andrew's Cemetery.
Seven total rounds appear to have hit the house where the resident was sleeping at the time, and 20 casings were found across the street.
Grand Rapids Fire Department also responded after authorities discovered that a bullet went through a window and hit a gas meter.
There is currently no suspect or vehicle information, and this is an active investigation by the Grand Rapids Police Department.
