GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Glover’s Heroes has extended their deadline to May 10 to nominate nurses who need help with home repairs.
The nonprofit foundation offers help with the cost of home repairs for people are various serving occupations. The group is concentrating this effort on nurses who, as they describe in a release, “have specifically gone over and above for our community to assist in keeping us safe,” working long hours and putting themselves at risk.
