GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Police are seeking the shooter after a man was wounded in the chest on the city's southeast side at midday Sunday.
According to the Grand Rapids Police Department, at 11:09 a.m. Sunday officers responded to a report of gunshots fired in the 400 block of Highland Street SE. Upon arriving at the scene, they discovered a man who had been shot in the chest.
He was transported to the hospital where he was listed in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers told FOX 17 the suspect remains at large and that no suspect information was available.
The incident remains under investigation by Grand Rapids Police.
