The Grand Rapids police are trying to find the owners of a dog found at police headquarters Tuesday.

'Taser', as he's come to be known around the squadroom, was circling the building on Monroe Center NW. Being no strangers to helping wayward-wanderers find their way home, the Grand Rapids Police let him in to get warm. They took him to a local vet and are making him feel at home during his stay.

Their Facebook post says he is 'very well-behaved', and in good health, which shows he has an owner who is probably missing him right now. He is not microchipped, so GRPD has no information on where Taser might call home.

If you know who Taser belongs to, please call GRPD's non-emergency line at 616-456-3400. They ask that the owner bring a picture of themselves with Taser, must know Taser's true name and be able to describe the collar he came in with.
