GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Mel Trotter Ministries will soon have a new playground, emergency shelter and rehousing program for Pathway Home residents.
It’s thanks to a $10,000 grant from the Junior League of Michigan, a news release said Wednesday.
The Pathway Home program serves single adults with kids.
Children at the Bethlehem Integrational Center will also have access to the play space.
“We are extremely grateful to the Junior League of Grand Rapids and the others who came together to provide funding to refurbish the outdoor play space for our families in need,” said Beth Fisher, vice president of advancement and communication for Mel Trotter Ministries.
