GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Grand Rapids police say a woman tried to set her coat and part of a cruiser on fire Thursday morning after being arrested.
The woman allegedly slipped her hand out of a handcuff and tried to set her coat and seat belt on fire.
The officer stopped his cruiser on Fuller Avenue off I-196 and put out the very small fire. At that point, police say the woman decided to tussle with the officer and another who went there to help.
The woman was restrained again and taken to jail.
There were no injuries and the vehicle only sustained minor damage.
