GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Grand Rapids police officers went above and beyond for a citizen in need after their car was hit by someone in a stolen vehicle.
Police say someone in a stolen vehicle was driving down Woodlawn Street near College Avenue when it hit a parked car.
The officers weren’t able to catch the car thieves, but they were able to help the owner get back on the road.
Officers Hart and Thompson found out the owner needed to get their daughter Ann Arbor the next day for a medical procedure and changed a flat tire.
