GRFD, GRPD pull body out of Grand River

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A body was pulled out of the Grand River on Monday morning.

Grand Rapids Fire Department and the Grand Rapids Police Department pulled the body out about 8:30 a.m., according to GRPD.

It was found south of Leonard Street near the west bank of the river.

The person’s identity has not been released.
