One person hospitalized after weekend shooting in Kentwood

KENTWOOD, Mich. — Police say one person was injured after a shooting in Kentwood over the weekend.

The Kentwood Police Department after 10 p.m. Saturday was initially called to the 4600 block of 28th Street SE, but when they got there they were told the victim was located in the 2000 block of 28th Street, which is in Grand Rapids.

According to the Kentwood Police Department, the individual who was shot was transported to to the hospital with an injury that appears to be non-life threatening.
