GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A new barbecue restaurant in downtown Grand Rapids opened for the first time Tuesday morning.
Sparks BBQ, a Traverse City-based restaurant, moved into the space at 15 Ionia Ave. near the Van Andel Arena.
The menu offers barbecue items that are exclusively prepared in a smoker. It will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Sunday to Thursday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
