WALKER, Mich. — Consumers Energy moved a big transformer in Ottawa County Thursday.
The transformer is more than 100-feet long, 20-feet tall and weighs 576,000 pounds.
Crews along the route had to raise power lines so the truck could make it through safely, and the driver even had to go the wrong way to get on the freeway in Marne.
They had a police escort the entire time.
