CALVIN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A Cass County man was injured Sunday afternoon after being struck by a falling tree.
Ro-Mell Dungey, 40, was in the process of removing trees from his property when one of them collapsed on top of him, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities say the incident occurred on Brownsville Road in Calvin Township.
Ro-Mell’s 14-year-old son was able to move the tree off of his father before seeking help. The man was later transported to South Bend Memorial Hospital.
