BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Authorities responded to a fire on Irving Park Drive early Christmas morning.
The fire broke out before 4 a.m. this morning, according to the Battle Creek Fire Department. They say smoke was seen coming from the back of the home upon arrival, adding that the fire likely started in the kitchen from an air cooker.
We’re told crews were able to contain the fire within the kitchen and that the fire appeared to be accidental.
The BCFD says no one was injured in the incident.
