CALVIN TWP., Mich. — The Cass County Sheriff's Department is investigating a shooting that happened Sunday morning.
The shooting was the result of a domestic violence incident that happened in the 19000 block of Chain Lake St. in Calvin Township.
A 34-year-old woman was shot before being flown to the hospital. Her health status as of now is unknown.
The suspect in the shooting fled the scene before officers arrived, but Indiana police officers located his car after he crashed in Goshen, Indiana.
The suspect was ultimately arrested by the Goshen Police Department after the crash.
