Grand Rapids man with heart condition missing

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The Grand Rapids Police Department is seeking community help in locating a missing man “with significant health issues.”

Bruce Ellis Matthews, 58, was last seen on Oct. 27 after he left home on Lockhart Drive at around 7:30 p.m. Police say Matthews may be dressed in a black zip-up coat and dress pants.

Before his disappearance, Matthews was seen driving his dark blue 2006 Honda Odyssey, Michigan license plate 8LSX87. The vehicle shows damage on the front passenger fender and rear bumper.

GRPD says Matthews has a heart condition and may not be carrying medication with him.
