Voters in Michigan who want to request an absentee ballot and vote early have until Monday afternoon to do so.
The Michigan Department of State is reminding voters that 4 p.m. Monday is the deadline to vote early ahead of Tuesday's primary election.
To request an absent voter ballot, you have to do so at your local clerk's office. You can no longer get one through the mail. After, you can receive your absent voter ballot, place it in the secrecy sleeve and then the green and white envelope, sign and seal the envelope and then give it back to your clerk.
