DELTON, Mich. — Delton Kellogg Middle School is closed Friday, Oct. 30 after a staff member tested positive for COVID-19.
The Delton Kellogg School District made the announcement in a Facebook post Thursday.
“We are consulting with the local health department and interviewing staff to determine who has been in close contact with this staff member,” says Superintendent Kyle Corlett.
Contact tracing procedures will be enacted during the school’s closure, according to the Facebook post. Corlett asks parents to look for information from their child’s instructor Friday morning, adding that lessons will be provided virtually.
