Priority Health sends ‘Stay Well Kits’ to its Medicare members

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Noting that people on Medicare are among the groups on the population that are most vulnerable to the coronavirus, Priority Health is sending 170,000 “Stay Well Kits" to its Medicare members.

COVID-19 cases have been rising to record levels in Michigan in the last few weeks.

The health insurance provider, owned by Spectrum Health, is sending out kits that included masks, reusable strip thermometers, a bandage dispenser, and a deck of cards.

Priority Health continues to provide enhancements of its of coronavirus related coverage:

  • No cost to members for medically necessary COVID-19 testing through December 31, 2020.
  • Free access to the company’s mental wellness toll, myStrength.
  • Premium credits to members and employers.
  • No-cost virtual visits begin January 1, 2021, for Priority Health Medicare Advantage members for primary care, specialists, and behavioral health.
