Good food is the foundation of good health, and Kids' Food Basket firmly believes that.

During this pandemic they need everyone's help now more than ever.

Kids’ Food Basket is continuing their Feeding Our Future campaign in hopes to raise a remaining $1.5 million to help secure a new permanent location in Holland.
With the new space, they would be able to serve more than 11,000 children who are food insecure in Ottawa and Allegan counties. It would also help expand their services to six schools who are on the waiting list in those counties.

The new location would be in a remodeled building able to host larger groups in the future and give families opportunities for families to learn about good nutrition through several programs.

“Kids' Food Basket has outgrown our current shared space at peace Lutheran Church and now, with the new COVID-19 protocols, preparing and packing our healthy nourishing meals at our existing space is prohibited,” says Bridget Clark Whitney, president and founding CEO of Kids' Food Basket. "It's critical that we get into a new space so that we can serve our Ottawa and Allegan children with good, healthy, nourishing food each and every day. Our collective health as a community depends on all of us, especially to care for our most vulnerable citizens."

There are multiple ways you can get involved and volunteer with Kids’ Food Basket. One way is through their Virtual Lunch and Learn, where you can get updates on fundraising, construction, and more with Bridget Clark Whitney.
