Kalamazoo County officials release videos explaining best ways to fight COVID-19 spread

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — In a series of YouTube videos, the Kalamazoo County Health & Community Services Department (KCHCSD) explains just how important the steps being taken now can help stop COVID-19 from spreading.

Dr. WIlliam Nettleton, Medical Director for KCHCSD explains in the first video why social distancing works so well and Penny Born, the Personal Healt Division Chief for KCHCSD shows how workers at the COVID-19 Call Center are practicing social distancing while helping residents of Kalamazoo County.

Born also says the hours for the Call Center are changing to better serve the community. The COVID-19 Call Center is changing hours Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday & Sunday 8 a.m. to noon.
