It's summer time, so that means longer and hotter days. And before the pandemic, it meant the odds of running into a kid selling an ice cold lemonade on a scorching hot afternoon was pretty likely.
However, because of the pandemic, those odds are pretty slim. That means a lot of tiny entrepreneurs have had to adjust to a new reality. And to help with that, Country Time is giving out stimulus checks to kids who can't put up their lemonade stands this year.
"We know this will be a rough summer for lemonade stands. And if the big guys are getting bailed out, why shouldn't we help the littlest entrepreneurs get the same treatment?" the company posted on its website.
Children from across the country can apply for a chance at a $100 bailout, and 1,000 winners will be chosen.
