LANSING, Mich. — The state of Michigan has confirmed 565 new cases of COVID-19 and six more deaths.
There are now 92,720 cases in Michigan and 6,324 deaths, making the statewide fatality rate just under 7%, according to the state today.
Yesterday, there were 92,155 cases.
The single-day death rate is in the single digits for the first time in more than a week.
There have been 67,778 total people who have recovered from COVID-19 in the state as of Aug. 14
