Michigan COVID-19 numbers edge closer to 100,000

MICHIGAN — Michigan reports 868 new cases of Coronavirus and 4 new COVID-19 deaths.

While the name number of deaths were posted today as yesterday, Monday saw 100 more confirmed new cases than Sunday.

Confirmed cases in the state now total 97,660 and 6,397 deaths. Laboratories have tested just under 3 million samples.

The fatality rate is calculated at 6.6% statewide, falling 0.1% from yesterday.
