LANSING, Mich. — The number of positive cases of the coronavirus in Michigan has increased to 23,993.
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) reported the latest numbers of cases in the coronavirus outbreak this afternoon.
The number of cases has increased 1,210 from yesterday, when there were 22,783 statewide cases.
The state says there have been 1,392 coronavirus deaths in Michigan.
The number of deaths has increased 111 from yesterday, when there 1,281 statewide deaths.
In the U.S., there are 514,415 cases, and there have been 19,882 deaths — while 29,347 people have recovered, according to the Center for Systems Science and Engineering at Johns Hopkins University.
