BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — The corononavirus outbreak has reached Calhoun County.
Calhoun County officials said they've confirmed the first case in the county at a news conference this morning.
The person is an adult.
Their travel history is only in southwest Michigan.
They are stable and at home.
Officials said they exhibited coronavirus symptoms: shortness of breath, fever and cough.
The county has begun a "contact investigation" to identify those who have been exposed and has made recommendations for those individuals to be isolated.
