GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The GR Jaycees Santa Parade will be held in downtown Grand Rapids on Nov. 21, according to the annual event’s Facebook page.
They say the parade will be a drive-by event this year.
“2020 has been an upside down year,” they write. “[COVID-19] has also necessitated some changes in the way we celebrate the Santa Parade.”
Event organizers say spectators are encouraged to decorate their cars before driving by Wealthy Street between Garfield and Indiana. They also say the route will only have enough room for vehicles; no walking or standing.
The event is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 21.
