Have your kids been getting into hockey? They can try it out for free on Saturday! The Grand Rapids Amateur Hockey Association is hosting a Try Hockey For Free event starting at noon at Patterson Ice Arena. The event is designed to provide kids ages 4-9 a completely free experience to try youth hockey.

A limited amount of equipment is even available to borrow. Coaches will be on the ice to teach kids the basics, so no experience is necessary. Check out graha.org for more.

Fish Fries in West Michigan

The season of Lent is upon us, which means there are fish fries all over West Michigan. Too many of them for us to list, but if you are looking for that traditional perch, walleye, or even shrimp dinner, you should have no trouble finding them at local schools, parishes, and churches.

Many are even offering drive-thrus to keep with social distancing guidelines.
