Having reliable access to the Internet has become more than just a convenience and more like a necessity as many of us work from home while the kids are remote learning.

Michelle Gilbert from Comcast shares some family tech tips on how to improve your connection.

The placement of a router and modem can make a huge difference in the quality of your internet connection. The proper placement of a router and modem can expand Wi-Fi signals allowing a stronger Internet connection.

Also ensure the software on the equipment is up to date and all cables are secure.

Another thing to consider is your current speed plan. The download and upload speeds may have worked pre-pandemic, but with more frequent usage for remote working and learning a higher Internet speed may be required to keep up with the workload.
