Spectrum Health 2020 Oncology Symposium goes virtual Sept. 21-25

Spectrum Health Cancer Center's 2020 Oncology Symposium will officially take place virtually the week of September 21, focusing on bridging the gap between primary care and oncology.

Dr. Paul Wright, Section Chief, Surgical Oncology at Spectrum Health Cancer Center, joins the Fox 17 Morning Mix on Zoom to discuss the event and topics that will be covered.

The free virtual event will have medical experts covering topics such as cancer survivorship, financial toxicity, side effects of treatment, rehabilitation, radiation complications, cardio-oncology, lifestyle, and more.

Continuing medical education credits are available for healthcare providers as well.

The event will take place over Microsoft Teams September 21-25 with different presentations each day of the week.

The Spectrum Health 2020 Oncology Symposium is open to all medical and health care professionals, patients and caregivers. The series is also open to Cancer Survivors and patients in the midst of treatment.
