Extra weight around the waistline isn't the only thing people may have gained this past year, there's been a huge weight on mental health too. Fortunately, the Salvation Army Kroc Center is open, a place people can go to seek help with those mental burdens, and maybe lose some quarantine weight.
The Salvation Army Kroc Center reopened its doors back in September, taking extensive measures to keep its members safe during the COVID-19 pandemic with enhanced cleaning and social distancing measures.
The Kroc Center offers a workout facility, group exercise classes, swim lessons, art workshops, as well as services to provide help with mental health.
For the month of January, all new members will have their membership fees waived.
The Salvation Army Kroc Center is located at 2500 S. Division Ave. in Grand Rapids.
