Now that it's the thick of winter, don't stay inside, get out and learn to ski or snowboard at Crystal Mountain! They have professional instructors to teach all of the techniques needed to shred some powder on the slopes.

Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month is a great and affordable opportunity to try something new with a beginner lesson. Throughout January, Crystal Mountain's professional snow sports instructors will teach the essentials of skiing and snowboarding for all beginners, ages 13 and up.

The cost is $59 per person, which includes a two-hour lesson and one lesson lift ticket. The cost doesn't include ski/snowboard rentals; add a rental onto the Beginner Lesson Package for an additional $40.

Lessons are available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 11 a.m. Advanced reservations required for the lessons, so call 888-968-7686 ext. 2000.

Skiing and snowboarding is a way to take part in safe, outdoor winter recreation. The resort has done a number of different things for guest safety – but keeping the resort open is a shared responsibility and guests need to do their part.

While Crystal Mountain is limiting capacity, skiers and snowboarders must wear masks when social distancing outside is not possible such as in lift lines, at ski racks and in food service areas.
