When one of their daughters adopted their grandson, Xander, they noticed him struggling to adjust to his new home life after being in the foster care system. They gave Xander one of the bunnies, and he slowly was able to calm down and start living his best life with his new family
When customers buy a Xander Bunny, another will be given to a child in foster care somewhere in the country. The Xander Bunnies have been sent to local foster care centers like DHHS in Grand Rapids and Detroit, providing children an item to help bring peace during a time of transition.
