The Junior League of Grand Rapids is a group of empowering women focused on improving the community and uplifting others. The group has an upcoming gala honoring these women doing good, and they want the community to join in on the celebration.
The gala is an opportunity to have a fun night out while raising money. Proceeds form the Gala will support nearly 5,000 children through their Kids in the Kitchen programs, Wellness Adventure Yard initiatives, and other community projects throughout Grand Rapids.
Susan K. Jones will be the guest of honor, who has been an important presence for fundraising and philanthropy in Grand Rapids for the past 20 years.
The gala will take place on April 30 at the Goei Center, located at 818 Butterworth SW.
