Get out and get running while practicing social distancing by joining Team Orphans for an exciting and socially distant 5K run on Saturday, June 13.
The race will take place at Robinette's Apple Haus and have a time-trial type set up which will allow runners to start individually or in small groups of people who live together during designated times between 7:30-10:30 a.m.
Each participant’s start time will be recorded as they cross the starting line. After participants finish, they will receive a text message with their finishing time.
A list of overall finishing times for all competitors will be emailed the same day. Awards will be mailed to the winners of each category.
The goal of the event is to raise money for Team Orphans adoption grants, provide a competitive racing experience for the participants while adhering to all CDC social distancing and safety guidelines.
There will be no on-site registration on race day. All participants must pre-register online before 7 p.m. on Friday, June 12.
