The Humane Society of West Michigan has reopened their shelter to the public, but by appointment only.
To get started, view adoptable animals and apply for the one you are interested in at hswestmi.org.
Once you find an animal you'd like to adopt, the staff will be in touch to schedule an appointment to meet with the animal.
