The Grand Rapids Children's Museum is a place where kids are encouraged to touch everything, explore, and be creative. As Christmas and winter break come closer, don't let cabin fever set when there's so much to keep the kids busy at Grand Rapids Children's Museum.

Gift Works- Now - Dec. 31

Experience the joy of giving at GRCM! At GiftWorks, kids can create, wrap and share a handmade gift with someone special. GiftWorks features a new handmade gift each week and is free with museum admission. Offered daily during the holiday season.

Early New Year's Eve- Dec. 31 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Don’t miss the party of the year with your little ones! Join us as we blast off into the new year with an out-of-this-world celebration, all before bedtime. This interstellar event features:

• Buddy’s Pizza• Spoonlickers

• Ball drop with confetti

• Noisemakers, party hats, and glow bracelets
• Music, dancing and more!


Grown Up Play Date- Feb. 7, 2020

At GRCM, we believe that grown-ups need to play too! Join us for our 6th annual Grown-Up Play Date, where adults take over the museum for a night of friends and fun. This year’s event will be bigger and better than ever, as we transform the museum into an indoor carnival, including:

  • Carnival games
  • Prize wheel
  • Street food
  • Playful cocktails
  • Craft beer
  • Wine Pull

Proceeds from this event will help fund our mission to bring play to all in our community. Must be 21 to attend. Tickets are $50/person.
