Meet Winn Dixie! Winn Dixie is a sweet girl who loves to go for walks and get belly rubs. Winn Dixie has done well around other dogs in the past.
She is now available and ready to find her fur-ever home! Winn Dixie's adoption fee is sponsored this month by Pet Supplies Plus.
Bark in the Dark
Join HSWM for the 8th Annual Bark in the Dark! Even with social distancing restrictions, the event will still bring lots of fun, in-person and virtual opportunities, and support for a great mission.
The Bark in the Dark event festivities will begin on Saturday, October 3rd from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. with an in-person kickoff at HSWM. This event will be an opportunity to pick up your wag bag, visit fun sponsor booths, sign up to walk or run in their Dog Day Out program, and even meet some adoptable dogs!
The week following the kickoff there will be fun daily themes, voting for the pet costume contest, virtual check-ins, and tons of excitement. Each participant will have the opportunity to pledge to walk the distance of their choice and fundraise from their network to support their efforts and the animals at HSWM.
Tickets cost $35 for adults, $25 for ages 5-21.

Adopt a Small Animal!
If you've been interested in adopting a domestic rabbit, rat, or mouse, now is the time! HSWM has many small animals need of loving forever homes! Small animals like mice, rabbits, and rats excellent pets with their big personalities and smaller space needs than larger companion animals! If you've ever thought about adopting a small animal like a domestic rabbit, mouse, or rat, please reach out! HSWM staff is happy to educate adopters on small animal care and provide recommendations.
